CMT just premiered the video for Mine and I can honestly say that it’s in my top 2 favorite videos now! Everything about the video is just beautiful. It’s more mature than anything else she’s done – I love every single part of it! I’m going to be watching it all night! Roman White directed it, and miss Taylor herself helped co-direct it! They both did an amazing job. I really can’t express how much I love this video. If you missed it, you can see it here!

Taylor donated $100,000 to Kids Kingdom in Hendersonville, TN where she’s from. She’s such a kind person! I’ve posted the article from The Tennessean below.

Country music sensation and former Hendersonville resident Taylor Swift recently donated $100,000 to the city’s efforts to rebuild Kids Kingdom, Mayor Scott Foster announced Tuesday.

The $100,000 donation from the Taylor Swift Charitable Fund had been discussed earlier in the evening when the city’s finance committee members voted to send an ordinance accepting the money to the full board. Board members are expected to vote on the ordinance at the next Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting on Sept. 14.

According to Parks Director Dave LeMarbre, Swift made the donation to help the city with its flood relief efforts. Although the 13-year-old children’s playground had been underwater several times over the years, it wasn’t destroyed by the historic flood that hit the city May 1-2. Had it been damaged more, the city might have received insurance money for the damage, LeMarbre noted. He said Swift’s business manager suggested the money go toward Kids Kingdom and refurbishing the city’s volleyball courts. {Read More}

Hey everyone – I’m SO sorry for the lack of updates over the past couple of days. I started school on Monday (my senior year!) and I’ve been so busy with all of it. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get caught up on things that I’ve missed so just bare with me!

Taylor went to the Paramore concert in Nashville last night, with opening acts, New Found Glory. I’ve added some pictures of her backstage with the New Found Glory band members. MTV released a 20 second clip of the Mine music video and I’m FREAKING out right now! It looks like it could be one of her best videos yet! I love every single part of it.
